Saturdays and Sundays through the growing season, keeping the allotment site in order: strimming the paths, emptying the communal water butts, mending the odd fence and helping plot holders who need a hand.
You will be working outdoors alongside the community gardener, and there is always someone around for a chat. Own transport helpful as the site is a mile out of town.
