Grounds and garden assistant
Hollowfield Estate · Two miles north of town
Six-month seasonal role from March to September, working with the head gardener across the walled garden, the orchard and the two miles of hedgerow that border the estate.
Day to day: mowing and strimming, planting out, staking, weeding the beds, and helping with the hay cut in July. You will learn to drive the small tractor if you want to.
Outdoor work in all weathers, so good boots matter more than experience. We will train the right person.
